Ancient Disability Stories Workshop: Dwarfism

Join us for a free workshop led by Katarína Kompauerová, PhD researcher in Ancient History and Archaeology at the University of Leicester. Explore disability and difference in the ancient Greek world through fascinating objects and interactive activities. Discover the evidence for people with dwarfism in ancient Greece and what it can tell us about their lives and experiences, and share your thoughts on how museums can make diverse bodies and experiences more visible.
No prior knowledge is needed and this workshop is open to people of all abilities. If you have any access or participation requirements, please let us know in advance so that reasonable adjustments can be made.
This workshop forms part of a PhD research project and is aimed at adults (18+). Participants will receive a Participant Information Sheet, Privacy Notice, and Informed Consent Form before the workshop. They will be asked to read these documents and sign the Informed Consent Form before taking part.
