Facilities and physical access

The Ure Museum of Greek Archaeology is accessible to a wide range of visitors and we always strive to meet the access needs of everyone who visits us. If you have a specific need which you would like to discuss, please contact us.

Entering the Museum

The Ure Museum is located on the ground floor of the Edith Morley building on the Whiteknights Campus RG6 6EL. The building has many entrances, the closest to the museum is entrance 5. Entrance 1 has step-free access and power assisted doors.   

Parking 

  • Parking on the Whiteknights campus is very limited. Car park 1A is a Pay & Display car park (credit/debit card only). click here for more information
  • Blue badge parking is available in all car parks. Please see map for details
  • We encourage visitors to travel by foot, bike and public transport wherever possible

Wheelchair users

Step-free and power assisted doors can be found at entrance 1 of the Edith Morley building.

Toilets

There are a number of toilets throughout the building, which are cleaned regularly by university staff. An accessible toilet can be found a short distance from the museum by entrance 1.
