Come and join Reading’s branch of the Young Archaeologists’ Club!

We are based at the Ure Museum of Greek Archaeology (University of Reading) and we are open to everyone aged 8-16.

We meet one Saturday per month (except for August) to learn different topics explained by specialists in the discipline. We have workshops on experimental archaeology, visit Silchester, enjoy new trails in the museum and do art and craft activities.

If you sign up to be a member, you will receive a free badge and a YAC pass card that entitles you to discounted or free entry into many museums and heritage sites around the UK, including discounts in some of their gift shops.

Membership costs £12 per term or £30 per year.
