The Ure Museum holds collections of archaeological material, archives and modern artefacts. The archaeological collections are primarily Greek, with important Egyptian, Cypriot, and Roman artefacts. The archives comprise correspondence, photographs, diaries, notes, maps and ephemera relating chiefly to early 20th century archaeology in Greece, the history of the Ure Museum and its collections and the personal research of the Museum’s founders, Annie and Percy Ure. The Museum’s modern collections include reproductions (casts) and modern art. Click a box below to find out more.
