Makaton Movies

Around once a month, the Ure Museum selects an object in the gallery to bring to life using Makaton.

Makaton is a unique language programme that uses symbols, signs and speech to enable people to communicate. Makaton is for everyone: children, adults, young and old. It is a way to increase understanding and access to information for everyone.

We hope you enjoy the retelling of the stories of the objects through these short videos.
