The Ure Museum holds hundreds of letters relating to the research and excavations of its founders Percy and Annie Ure, the Museum’s history, and the archaeological collections. The archive includes correspondence from a range of internationally recognised archaeologists. A particular collection strength is correspondence from early 20th century Greek archaeologists working in the Greek Archaeological Service. Archaeological correspondents include:
