Celebrate Easter by finding the images of egg-laying animals in our collection and completing animal-themed craft activities.

Alongside images of birds, like ducks, owls, and swans, we have other depictions of creatures that lay eggs. Can you find the terracotta tortoise from ancient Greece and the wooden cobra from ancient Egypt? Did you know that scarab beetles lay eggs? And that the bream, angler fish, and cuttlefish all lay eggs too? Come to the museum and search for them all.
