Families and children aged 6+ are welcome to explore exciting free activities at the Ure Museum of Greek Archaeology, including:

Design your own Greek pottery with air drying clay
Explore the Museum and sketch and draw your favourite objects (materials will be provided)
Handle real ancient pots which reveal stories of people living over 2000 years ago. Learn how to handle pots and how to interpret them!
Complete a self-guided scavenger hunt: “I Spy With My Ancient Eye”
Play a pottery board game

All activities will run on a drop-in basis. Please note that the object handling activity will start at 3pm, with 8 available spaces, on a first come, first served basis.

Please note: drivers should use the postcode RG6 6UR to find parking for the Ure Museum on the University of Reading Whiteknights Campus. The Museum is easily accessible via bus from across Reading, with cycling spaces on campus.
