As part of the 2025 Festival of Archaeology, and to celebrate the new exhibition: Hippos: The Horse in Ancient Greece, the Ure is holding a special day.  ​

Timetabled activities:​

Object Handling – Touch and explore real artefacts from ancient times​

Story Time – Listen to tales of ancient horses​

Mythical Monster Making – Create your own creature​

Design a Coin – Craft a horse-themed coin from cardboard and make a rubbing to take home​

At 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. Each for 45 minutes.
