For decades, the ‘Well Loved Tales’ series has been enticing readers to explore exciting new worlds. Packed with adventure, these stories inspire us as children then fill us with nostalgia as adults.

Fairytales often include animals which are either friend or foe. These creatures, usually with human mannerisms, are not bound by the rules of our world. The characters, representing good and evil, allow children to learn moral lessons from their actions.

Now displayed in the Ladybird Gallery, this exhibition invites people of all ages to consider the life lessons provided by fairy-tales.
