Family Visits

From the history of how we grow our food, to ancient Greece and the animal kingdom, we offer a world of discovery for families and children right here in Reading.

Both The Museum of English Rural Life and the Ure Museum run a range of family-friendly events throughout the school term and at holiday. This includes trails, arts and crafts, virtual reality, play, and more, all inspired by our collections. The vast majority of these are free.
