Responsibilities and research interests
Danni Corfield supports academic engagement with the collections of The Museum of English Rural Life and the University of Reading Special Collections. Her work focuses on improving discoverability for research and facilitating access for academics and postgraduate researchers. She contributes to research-aligned cataloguing and the development of online collection information to strengthen the visibility and usability of the collections.
Danni has worked extensively with the university’s Archive of British Printing and Publishing, including long-term cataloguing and research support for Random House UK Archives. Danni has significant experience in managing and delivering digitisation projects, including large-scale imaging of photographic collections and the management of digital assets for research partnerships. She has also supported digital humanities initiatives such as the Modernist Archives Publishing Project (MAPP), where she contributed to digitisation, data migration and permissions clearance.
