DIGITAL IMAGE SUPPLY – RESEARCH PURPOSES

We can supply low resolution scans of some items via our reading room and enquiry service at these rates (see below for large / specialist orders):

• first image/page £5.00
• subsequent images/pages £1.50 each

Sometimes the condition and size of an item means that we cannot provide these scans. In these instances we provide high resolution copies at these rates (see below for large / specialist orders):

• first image/page £18.50
• subsequent images/pages £7.50 each

Supply is by online transfer.

DIGITAL IMAGE SUPPLY – LARGE AND SPECIALIST ORDERS

For large orders (e.g. over 100 images) we are happy to quote competitive rates for bulk digitisation-on-demand. We can also quote for specialist object photography. Please contact merl@reading.ac.uk.

DIGITAL IMAGE SUPPLY – PUBLICATION

Publication quality images are supplied when you obtain a licence to use our content, with prices ranging from £18.50. Our academic use package now includes reproduction rights. You may need to obtain a licence to use our content, so please ask us at merl@reading.ac.uk.

PRINT ON DEMAND – ENGINEERING DRAWINGS

We can provide copies of engineering drawings at the following sizes:

A2, A1 or A0, folded

First drawing per order is £20, and then £15 per drawing thereafter.

Postage within the UK is free. Overseas rates are available on request.

Please note that we can only provide paper copies of engineering drawings. Orders can take around 2 weeks to process.

PRINT ON DEMAND – PHOTOGRAPHS, ILLUSTRATIONS ETC

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE READING ROOM

Daily and weekly photography permits are available for use in the archive and library reading room at The Museum of English Rural Life and University of Reading Special Collections.

Photography must be with a handheld, non-flash device and restrictions apply to some collections. Simply mention your interest in purchasing a permit when you contact us to make a booking to visit and we can advise further.
