The use of our collections for teaching and learning is as broad as the subjects they cover.
Our museums and collections support teaching and learning for all ages, from pre-school work and school visits (including online resources to be used either at the museum or in the classroom), through to university teaching on-site and online, and support for doctoral students.
Several of our museums and collections are fully integrated within academic departments, while our overall support for collections-based teaching is sector-leading.
One instance of this is the University’s acclaimed Museum Studies undergraduate programme, which offers a unique opportunity to combine a heritage qualification with Archaeology or Classics at an undergraduate level.
