Conservations with a Curator: Carol Sorhaindo
About this event
Join us for our latest season of exciting free online talks, where you’ll get the chance to dive deep into the world of art with our expert curators, conservators and scholars. Discover the stories behind the artworks in the University of Reading Art Collection, learn about the creative process, and pose any questions.
This month we will be joined by Carol Sorhaindo. Carol is a Dominican artist whose work explores connection to landscape, botanical heritage and the entangled history between Dominica, Africa and Britain. Her outdoor sculpture ‘Economic Biosphere’ can be found on display at the University of Reading’s Whiteknights Campus as part of ‘The World Reimagined Project‘.
Grab a glass of wine or a cup of tea, and don’t miss this unique opportunity to get a closer look at the art world from the comfort of your own home. See you there!
