Responsibilities and research interests
Claire Clough is responsible for the library and rare book collections of The Museum of English Rural Life and University of Reading Special Collections, and the management of the library team.
Claire’s professional and research interests include historical bibliography, teaching with collections and digital humanities.
Claire teaches on the module EN1SL- Shelf Life. An introduction to English literature’s material dimension, this module is co-designed and co-taught with UMASCS and Department of English Literature colleagues, where collections based teaching is embedded in the module. Claire also delivers teaching with collections sessions for a number of other departments including Museum Studies.
