Doctoral Training Programme: Research Engagement with Collections

Covering everything from how to navigate collections to how to teach with them, this programme of in-person and virtual events introduces PhD students from any institution to collections-based research.

About this event

Develop skills for Public Engagement with Research (PER) and have impact with collections.

Senior Fellow of Advance HE, University Teaching Fellow and Director of Academic Learning and Engagement for Museums & Collections Dr Rhi Smith shares her experience from 20 years of teaching with collections at HE level.

After learning how to design effective HE collections sessions, you will put this into practice by designing a workshop linked to your own research area.
