The Cole Museum of Zoology is full of exciting learning opportunities! We are in the process of creating educational material to support the National Curriculum, as well as providing content to University degree level and beyond.
If you wish to enhance your visit with a self-guided tour, please download and print the activity sheets prior to your visit. These tours are designed for use by an adult leading a small group of children, and to encourage children to ask questions and discuss animals they can find in the museum. Remember to bring stationery to complete your worksheets!
The museum is very popular with local primary and secondary schools who are welcome to bring classes along to explore and ask questions. We currently do not offer guided tours, but please download the worksheets to use and contact us if you require further assistance in planning your visit. Larger groups do need to be booked in advance, so please contact us to discuss availability and arrange a group visit.
