Opening Hours
The Cole Museum is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. We are closed weekends, Bank holidays, and University closure days (listed under Opening Times). We are also completely FREE to visit! Although if you wish to make a donation, all funds go towards keeping our museum running and free to the public.
Don’t forget that group visits of 10 or more must be booked in advance!
The Cole Museum is centred at the heart of a working University building, and we must ask our visitors to be considerate of our staff and researchers working on the upper floors by keeping noise levels to a minimum.
Think of us as a quiet space, like a library.
We also ask that prams, buggies scooters etc are not brought into the museum. These can be left outside the building, or next to the cafe kiosk during times where the cafe is closed.
