The University’s renowned Centre for Ephemera Studies (CES), based in Typography & Graphic Communication, celebrates its 30 year anniversary.  CES includes hundreds of thousands of printed ephemera, which stimulate research and student enquiry, as well as interest from external groups and societies.

In 2024/25, we are running a series of workshops and events to raise the profile of the Centre and to draw attention to its world-leading collections of printed ephemera. By popular request, we are running some familiarisation sessions for University colleagues who would like to find out more about the ephemera collections in the Centre and about how they can use them.

Our first event on 16 September 2024 introduced CES and its work to UMASCS colleagues.
