The collection includes stage files containing programmes, reviews and publicity material for around 700 productions of Beckett’s plays, dating from the 1950s to early 2000s.  These include a number of files on productions of ‘Waiting for Godot’, ‘Endgame’, ‘Happy Days’ and ‘Krapp’s Last Tape’.  There are also files of information on Beckett festivals, radio and televised productions.  We hold around 50 posters advertising Beckett productions and festivals performed all over the world, including exhibitions and conferences about Beckett and his work, dating from 1968 until 2000.  Over 2500 news cuttings relating to Beckett have been collected along with other items of ephemera which can be found within this collection.

The copying of any of Beckett’s handwriting and sketches, or any unpublished letters, typescripts, manuscripts or draft versions of his work that differ from the final published version is not permitted.

Please note that surrogate copies of the posters, not originals, are normally made available for consultation.
