Read the policies and procedures governing our work with the University Art Collection.

These policies are specific to the Collection; there are others which are implemented across the University Museums and Special Collections Service.

Access Policy – the policy dealing with providing access to the Collection and associated information.

Copyright Policy – the University policy dealing with copyright laws. It covers all printed, electronic and digital copyrighted material used within the scope of University activity. This policy is solely concerned with issues relating to the use of third party material. It does not cover the University’s ownership of copyright in materials created by individual members of staff and students.

Covid-19 Procedures – the new procedures for accessing the Collection during the period of Covid-19 related social distancing.

Documentation Policy – the policy dealing with the documentation of objects on the collections management database.

Loans Policy – the University policy dealing with all incoming and outgoing loans.

This page is continually in progress; as we intend to list as many relevant policies and procedures as possible to be transparent in our work.
